2.  Muffins are one of North America’s favorite snack foods.  They have been made for well over a 100 years.  They come in many varieties, blueberry, carrot, banana, chocolate chip, and more.  But there is a dark side to muffins.

4. What negative effects does the muffin production industry create on its workers; can anything be done to solve these issues?

5.  Tim Horton’s and Dunkin Doughnuts use massive factories to produce the base muffin batter.  These factories employ illegal migrant workers from Siam and Zaire to work 23 hours days for less than 10 cents USD an hour.  Factory workers suffer from a high rate of diabetes and cancer because the factories allow them to eat as much raw muffin batter as they want.

6.  In this presentation we will look at:  The Organization for Helping Countries that Don’t Exist Anymore and their multitiered campaign to relieve the suffering caused the Muffin industry.
