1. Main progress on Design & Safety Review: EmCAL -- Received the revised TRD write up from Ludovico Design & Safety Audit sheets need to be revised to correspond to the new TRD Hydrogen system R&D -- Received the final version of the TRD from Tom Group review (internal) has been carried out with minor comments Design & Safety audit sheets to be filled in during September The reports are now ready fr the external review External review Ear-marked for the beginning (7 – 8)of November; A rehearsal is being planned on Friday the 21 st of October – just before the MICE Collaboration meeting; Cherenkov 1 --- Received a set od Design & Safety review audits from Mississippi on The TRD needs substantial revision as the design is still undergoing changes

2. Fibre Tracker: Ghislain has agreed to lead the review on Fibre Tracker even though he has been asked to suspend his involvement on MICE by Louvain. He has now invited Paul Soler, Don summer & Emilio Radicioni to form the review team. Target prototype TRD on Target will be prepared by the end of September. Ear marked for D&S review in November as the first test is scheduled at the beginning of 2006;

3. Other issues: Beamline & Target: It has been agreed that the write up on the above will be split into two reports Beamline – Paul will revise the TRD and the current audit sheets to suit Target – Chris Booth will provide a write up on the target design, including the prototype Infrastructure_ We have so far received the TRD on he Hydrogen system. We need to have the TRD for rest of the infrastructure. At present work is continuing on: Magnetic shielding -- Some modelling work need to be finalised -- Design needs to be completed

4. Hall layout – Design work is finished. We should We should find time to complete the TRD write up on this ( current TRD shows a diagram and a half page description only) Hall support structure – Rail system seem well advanced; Further analyses needed TRD need to be revised on completion of the above Yury will advise schedule on when the TRD documents are ready. They should be reviewed properly before work starts.
