Who cleared off the most land?
Let the 10x10 grid represent the total amount of land that each person was supposed to clear in a day. The fractions, decimals, and percents represent what each person cleared by noon.

Marie = 0.68 Julia = 3/5 Oscar = 62% Felix = 13/20 Order, from smallest to largest, the portion of his/her land each person has cleared by lunch.

Types of Decimals Terminating Decimal = a decimal, such as 1/2 = 0.5, for which the division operation results in a remainder of 0. Repeating Decimal = a decimal, such as 1/3 = or 0.3, which shows a pattern of repeating digits.

How to Convert? Decimal to Percent: 0.05 = 05% (or 5%) 0.254 = 25.4%
Percent to Decimal: 65% = 0.65 2% = 02% = 0.02 Decimal to Fraction: 0.25 = 25/100 (then reduce) 0.06 = 6/100 (then reduce) 1.43 = 1 whole and 43/100 Fraction to Decimal: Convert to hundredths, if able to do so easily. Divide the numerator by the denominator
