Dynamically interrogate the hierarchy for a desired class
Search for a Class by Name or Class Attribute

The Feature/Object Template is a new Reuse Library object
Select multiple features/objects and copy/paste the group into the Reuse Library for reuse in any design
Define the name of the Feature/Object Template in the Reuse Library as well as its thumbnail image.
Drag and drop a Feature/Object Template from the Reuse Library into your NX design whenever needed.

Captures and manages a set of features/objects commonly used in designs, and promotes their reuse.

5. Fastener Assembly Capability in NX 6 Customer Value
The Fastener Assembly is a new Reuse Library object
Users configure a fastener assembly template, specifying the top and bottom stacks
Users select single or multiple holes for placing the fastener assembly
The function auto-selects the right fastener component dimensions based on the hole selection
Constraints are created automatically
Fully compatible with NX Machinery Library

Captures and manages a set of reusable bolted connections and promotes their reuse.

6. Fastener Assembly Template Creation
New Reuse Object type
Fastener Assembly
User configures a fastener assembly template by specifying:
The name of the template
The standard to be used for the Bolt (Common, ANSI),
The form of the hole (simple, counterbore, countersunk)
The screw type.
The configuration of Nuts and Washers to be used in the top and bottom stack.
Allowable components in a configuration for a given combination of Standard, Hole Form, and Screw Type is pre-defined.

7. Fastener Assembly Insertion Process
Users select single or multiple holes for placing the fastener assembly

All Holes on a Face
Selected holes are grouped together by common size
Users select the Fastener Assembly template to apply to a selected hole, or group of common holes.
The right sizes for the individual fastener components are auto- selected based on the hole size
Constraints are created automatically
