1 Business Plan Project Mrs. Hanser Entrepreneurship Instructions and Guidelines: This template will serve as a guideline as you complete your business plan. Make sure it is completed with all parts included. Some parts may require research and estimations. Use your best judgment and creativity. You will present your business plan to the class upon completion. Remember to speak clearly and confidently. I need to hear you from the back of the room. Please keep your slides in order as they appear on the template. You will print each slide as you create them and place in your provided binder. I have a hole-punch you may use. Please keep all papers in order. You will turn in your binder before you present. A grading rubric is provided. Any questions? Ask!

4 Business Profile My business is about washing and cleaning cars. I choose this business because it’s a simple business to run. My business is a service business cause I help people clean cars. My business will help people clean cars and make their cars look brand new. 3

5 Business Idea Qualifications I am very good at cleaning things and good at taking care of cars. I can make cars look good after I get done washing them. I take my time also when I wash cars. I have all the materials and cleaners to make a car look brand new off the lot. I enjoy helping people make things look new. 4

6 Mission Statement We are a caring business for every family that is always on the go that wants that new car look in under 30minutes. 5

7 Product/Service Description My service will help you keep your car clean and have your car looking brand new. My service will make people as when did you get a new car. This business is all about making your car as clean as possible. Everybody loves a nice clean car so I can clean it for them and make it look brand spanking new. 6

8 Business SWOT Analysis –Strengths- I love working outside and I love working on cars and making them look better. –Weakness-I don’t have the funds right now to start my business of big and it will be hard to get my companies name out there. –Opportunity-A big car show is coming to town. Peoples cars have been getting muddy from a big rain. –Threat-A new car shop could open up and people could start washing and fixing their own cars. 7

12 Marketing Mix Price: I choose $40 dollars because it is a good cheap price for washing and checking a car that everybody can afford. Place: I to put my business in Florence cause a lot of people go to Florence on the weekends and even week days if you work in that town. Product: It will make people cars look cleaner and if there is something wrong with the car I can tell them right away so they can go to a repair shop to get it fixed. Promotion: I would post posters in stores like Wal-Mart, IGA, even in the mall. I might also try to get a add on the radio. 11

I will probably start this around 2months before opening. It will cost me about $80 for 700 flyers and around $90 for a radio add per time it comes on. Purchase I would tell them if they purchase a mega wash/check then the next visit is free. Retention I would be friendly and carry on a conversation with them and talk to them about how I will be glad to wash/check there car anytime. 12
