Serpent ● Creature used of Satan ● Satan used him ● 2 Cor 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. Genesis 3

Satan ● Revelation says most about him ● Rev 12:9 The great dragon was hurled down— that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. Genesis 3

Woman's Response Gen 3:2-3 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' " Genesis 3

Why the Woman? ● Why did Satan approach the woman? ● Why not the man? ● God gave Adam the condition ● Eve got it from Adam, second hand Genesis 3

Genesis 3 Serpent Denies Word Gen 3:4-5 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

Genesis 3 Devil's Tactics Jesus said that these sins of the flesh come out of the heart of man, way down deep. This is where Satan is making his appeal.
