Protection When a herd gets attacked, the form a circle, so their protected from every angle. If a family member is hurt they surround the family member from attack.

Endangered? No, there are over 10,000 herds of them!

Interesting Facts Romans called Grevy's zebras 'hippotigris' and trained them to pull two-wheeled carts for exhibition in circuses. A At first glance zebras in a herd might all look alike, but their stripe patterns are as distinctive as fingerprints are in man. Scientists can identify individual zebras by comparing patterns, stripe widths, color and scars.

Saving Zebras More people should pay more attention trying to save Zebras. They are magnificent creatures, and if we don't try to save them they will be no more.
