What is energy? Energy is the ability to do work. Every moment in our daily life is related energy. We need energy to make things and work. Energy can divide by 8 forms: 1. Heat energy 2. Sound energy 3. Light energy 4. Chemical energy 5. Electrical energy 6. Nuclear energy 7. Kinetic energy 8. Potential energy The sun gives out heat energy. Sound energy is produced by the vibration of an object. Light energy enables us to see. Food and fuels are stored forms of chemical energy. Electrical energy is a very useful form of energy. In some countries, electrical energy comes form nuclear energy. Kinetic energy is possessed by a moving object. Potential energy is found in a stretched or raised object.

From: 1. Fuel A. It is cheap and safe to use. B. It is easy to transport and burn. C. It isn’t produce polluting gases. D. It produces a lot of energy. 2. Nuclear. Wind. Hydro- electric and Solar A. It can rebirth. B. It makes not much pollution. C. It can replace the fossil fuels.

From: 1. Fuel A. It makes air pollution. A. It makes air pollution. B. It causes acid rain and the greenhouse effect. B. It causes acid rain and the greenhouse effect. 2. Nuclear. Wind. Hydro- electric and Solar A. It is difficult to build a station. A. It is difficult to build a station. B. It needs much money. B. It needs much money. C. C. The equipment of them is very expensive.

Energy change is a kind of energy changed to energy. Equipments can change energy is called energy converter, for example: a rice cooker, a fan, etc. Electrical energy is changed to sound energy at television and is changed to light energy and heat energy at a light.

A. Renewable energy sources (Will not be used up and won ’ t cause pollution) a.1 Hydro-electric power a.2 Wind power a.3 Nuclear power a.4 Chemical power a.5 Solar power a.6 Tidal power a.7 Geothermal power B. Non-renewable energy sources (Will be used up and will cause pollution) b.1 fossil fuel b.2 natural gas b.3 uranium

Energy is very important in our daily lives. We can use energy to do many things. In the world, there are many forms of energy: heat, sound, light, chemical, nuclear, kinetic, potential energy, etc. Energy also can be changed to another energy. We can make energy and save energy. But energy has many advantages; it makes much pollution as air pollution, etc. If we don’t use energy safety, we will be died.
