2. Solar Panels I chose to do solar energy because of the solar panels. Installing Solar Panels on the roofs of Tonopah Valley High School will very much change our environment. The energy created by the solar panels can supply enough electrical energy to operate there electrical wants.

3. Building materials Solar Panels: Putting solar panels on TVHS will change everything. The utilization of solar panels is a great way to generate clean and renewable electricity that's capable of powering Tonopah Valley high school. Since only a single solar panel can produce a certain amount of energy, many installations contain several panels.

4. Changes to the Building The roof top installation will need pipe insulation and make the distance the heated water has to travel shorter, since hot water heaters are usually placed on the roofs of the buildings. There is little chance of bugs being able to damage the panels with a roof mounting. Also, be sure the area isn't near overhanging tree branches where birds stay because birds poop can damage the panels.

5. Pros Solar panels give off no pollution. The use of solar energy to produce electricity allows the user to become less dependent on the worlds fossil fuel supplies. Solar panels do not take up much room, if installed on roofs. Solar energy is quiet when produced.

6. Cons Weather can effect the efficiency of solar cells. The installation of solar panels can cost a lot. Solar energy is only able to generate electricity during daylight hours. If there is something wrong with the solar panels that are in stalled, it may cost you way more.
