Should be careful Not to complain to God about: Suffering Consequences of Our Sins- –Lamentations 3:38,39; Proverbs 19:3 Grace He extends to Others –Matthew 20:11,12 Leadership He has Ordained –Complaining against Lord’s Leadership is Complaining Against the Lord –Numbers 16:3,11,41; 1 Timothy 5:19

Should be careful Not to complain to God about: Blessings He Provides –Numbers 11:4-6 –Numbers 21:5 –Numbers 11:18-20 –Numbers 11:31-33 The Commandments of God –Deuteronomy 1:26,27 –Hebrews 3:17

We Must Do All Things Without Complaining Philippians 2:14-15 “Do all things without complaining and disputing,” Includes Complaints About Being Hospitable to One Another- 1 Peter 4:9 –Not merely because we are Commanded to do so - Romans 12:13 –But because of Love to God & Mankind

Should be Cautious about Complaints Against Fellow Man Beneficial Complaints- based on fact & offered for benefit of others. –Acts 6:1 “widows were neglected” Many Complaints do Not fall in this category – Not based on Fact Those that Resolve Sin –Colossians 3:13 “if anyone has a complaint against another” –Ephesians 4:1,2

We Should Avoid Complaints Against Each Other James 5:9 “Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned.” James 4:11 Says more about us then the ones we are complaining about Jude 1:14-16

“I can’t complain, but sometimes I still do.” Should resolve that we Can’t & we Won’t be Complainers! Philippians 4:11 “in whatever state I am, to be content” Hebrews 13:5 “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
