Status Report To monitor regularly work progress Status of WP / Tasks Variance (Plan - Current status): IF + OK IF - Behind schedule (Critical Path?) Costs Layout: Work Completed / Started / Plan for next 6 months

Review Which deliverables (reports, SW etc.) will be reviewed (External / Internal)? Who is responsible? Where will be last versions of deliverables stored? Who will review the project and when (how often)

Forms of review Site visits Working meetings: Control of work progress Inform all involved about the status quo Inform involved about problems encountered Costs monitoring Co-ordination of work Plan for the next period of time

Assessment of change How the variance affects other project tasks? What has to be done to solve the problem and to bring the project back to to the track Why the variance has happened? What has to be done to prevent similar events happen in the future?

Solving problems A creative solution (e.g. use of a new technology) Use of reserves (slack time, non critical activities) Use of additional resources (increased costs) Postpone deadline (approval of sponsor) Change scope of project (will be delivered less)
