SEED Objectives Positioning of Schlumberger in Russia as a “local” company investing in Russian education and supporting local young talents Positive image of the company for government, educational authorities, and clients Promotion of Schlumberger among young generation Engage youth in science and technology by involvement into world global issues

SEED Program Content School Network Program – 2 new schools are granted and connected to Internet yearly ($ 20K SEED Grant) Collaborative workshop – 1 SEED National workshop for all SEED schools per year (total number 80 participants) Educational programs – SEED is a sponsor of the annual conference and exhibition for the Russian youth in Moscow (organized by the Ministry of Education of Russia) SEED website translation in the Russian language and its promotion among native speakers

SEED Achievements Over 1700 children directly benefit from the SEED program; 17 SEED schools granted and connected in Russia Teachers, parents, community members are involved/trained About 100 Schlumberger employees and their families are SEED volunteers in Russia 6 SEED All-Russia workshops for students, teachers and volunteers on the problems of sustainable development, such as ‘Water”, “Global Climate Change and Energy” SEED has reputational input to our business activity and collaborate with the clients on social projects

Learning Fab Lab in Russia Create an innovative technology center for young researchers in a SEED school in St. Petersburg Collaboration with MIT/Stanford and SEED will provide training and support to SEED students/teachers Fab Lab provides access to high- tech equipment and programming tools to create different types of projects in physics, chemistry and robotics (2-3 years Grant) Students and teachers at Fab Lab, MIT
