In partnership with KCC What is it like to be a CODA? A CODA can feel different to their peers as they live between two cultures, Deaf and hearing. Impacts on them –S–S–S–Socially –F–F–F–Family/relationships –E–E–E–Every day life –C–C–C–Confidence/self esteem –O–O–O–Other; maybe bullying?

Why do CODAs need support? Many reasons! Here’s a few; CODAs absorb the problems of their parents. CODAs absorb the problems of their parents. Why? Often used as interpreters.
