Oprah  Oprah’s Angel Network –a charity aimed at encouraging people around the world to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged others –raised more than $51,000,000 –Winfrey personally covers all administrative costs associated with the charity, so 100% of all funds raised go to charity programs

5. A Letter From Oprah  Dear Cathedral Student,  I have always been motivated to help the struggling youth as well as other adults because, when I was experiencing traumatic events in my life, I wanted someone to help me along the way. Later in my life I moved in with my Grandmother, and she inspired me to succeed in life. From personal experiences I have learned many lessons and have a true voice to share with the community.  My way of giving back to the community is by donating several dollars to many funds to help children who are in situations like I experienced. I also have opened many foundations and charities to help the youth of America.
