Welcome to St. Peter! In the Scripture readings for today, Jesus reveals himself as God’s Son by the authority of his words (what he taught) and works (what he did, his miracles). As we worship, let us rejoice in the blessings of being Jesus’ followers: we are secure in his power and made strong in our faith by his Word!

Prayer before Worship Lord Jesus, thank you for revealing yourself as my Savior by the power of your miracles and words. Help me follow you so that I might become stronger in my faith and have the certainty of eternal salvation. In your name I ask this. Amen.
