2.  This tutorial is designed to help you better understand how to use the Elluminate Live classroom. One of the best things you can do is to go into the classroom and “play” with features before class.  Your instructor may have to give you moderator privileges for some things. Speak to him or her about your particular class.

6. Select Tools> Audio> Audio Setup Wizard

7. Select your microphone, then click OK and follow directions to test microphone and headset.

9. You can save Chat Conversation, Participants List, or Whiteboard screen.

11. Print You can print Current Screen or Selected Screens.

12. Click here to change the default view of the interface. Experiment to see if you like another view better.

13. Click here to share desktops and applications. More on this later. Share

14. Take notes that are “aligned” with content of the class session.

15. Now we will look at the features in the left sidebar.

16. You can see who is in the session by looking at Participant s window. Participant Window

17. Polling and Icon Communication Area

18. You can raise your hand, show smiley face or sad face, clap, give a thumbs down and step away from the session ( by clicking on the blue door).

19. Click here for polling. You might see “A B C D E” instead of  and X.

20. You can chat by entering text here, then clicking Send. You can also send it to the whole room or only to certain people. The moderator will see all comments. It is best not to say anything negative, especially about the moderators.

22. Talk Off Talk On Toggle Switch: Click to Talk or turn off Talk.

27. Click here to draw or write on board. You can change your pencil color and sizes by clicking on the buttons to the right -->>

29. Click here to add a text box in the whiteboard. Others can edit text and move it around. You can also change the size and color by clicking on the buttons 

30. Click here to add different shapes to whiteboard.

31. Click on the STAR to add other cool things.

32. Click on any icon for it to appear on the whiteboard. After placing it, you (and others) can move it around.
