2 Scout-O-Rama is the annual trade show of Scouting in Orange County that is attended by over 25,000 people. Scouts and their families enjoy a fun-filled day of exhibits, competitions and displays. Some popular events from recent years include Dutch- oven cooking demonstrations, rock wall climbing, water rocket launches and BMX bicycle shows. Local Packs, Troops, Teams and Crews can participate in Scout-O-Rama event by displaying a booth, or giving hours.

7  Basic commission is $2.50  Units could earn:  $0.25 for service hours or  $0.50 for booth  Also these Additional Incentives:  $0.30 for selling an average of 12 tickets per Scout in Unit  $0.20 for implementing a plan for selling over 12 tickets per registered Scout  $0.10 for picking up tickets at the kick-off with goal in place.  $0.20 for first time units (who have not sold in the last 2 years)  $0.10 for turning in all money with zero returns by May 10 th

8  What is your unit doing with the money?  How many boys are in your unit?  What program do you have planned for the summer?  Unit F wants to help send 50 boys to summer camps and get 3 new tents, total of $10,500. They have 75 boys, each boy will need to sell 14 books.  This can also help parents offset cost of Day or Summer Camp and other Scouting events.

Gift Certificate (First Turn-In ONLY), Scout Beanie & Patch.  100 tickets sold - Two Knott’s Berry Farm Admission Tickets, Scout Beanie & Patch.  200 tickets sold - $100 Target gift card, Scout Beanie & Patch.  300 tickets sold - $250 Target gift card, Scout Beanie & Patch.  400 tickets sold - $400 Target gift card, Scout Beanie & Patch. * First turn-in incentives – Money & prize list must be turned in to District Scout-O- Rama Chairman no later than April 12, 2011 ** Prize are not final and subject to change!

11  Forms need to be turned in by March 17th  Units that do not have it turned in by March 17th will only sign contracts Basic commission  Can I turn in my forms after March 17th?  Yes, once it is turned in contract will be re-done
