The process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or stress. It means “bouncing back” from difficult experiences. Important aspects of resiliency for this workshop are: - setting realistic goals - taking decisive actions towards those goals 6

Change is a process and not a one-time event It takes about 30 days to develop a habit – What can you do for at least 5 minutes each for the next 30 days towards this goal? Set-backs can be expected. Establish small goals and gradually work towards bigger and harder to achieve goals. Situate yourself – where have you been? Where are you? Where do you want to go? 27
