3. How was it developed?  2010  8 students from Millennium high school  Need for a “green space”  Bamboo sticks as a barrier + ~350 cubic yards of organic soil

4. How is it run?  Education farm – farm is taken care of by students- run on a voluntary basis  Various events ( school oriented + anyone can volunteer)

5. What are they doing?  Grow from April-November ( due to weather)  Organic/healthy food  Compost  Education through experience  Mixing sciene/art with gardening

6. What did I do?  Short introduction  Demonstration of technique  Pulling out weeds  Fence/path management  Questions

8. What is done with the food?  Food grown from April-November  Emphasis on educational farm- food is donated to cafeterias/food pantries  Occasional sale of food – suggested donation
