Where We Were Before in terms of Data Archive?
4
A Stand alone PC system was used until 2004 at the CSA and the resource sharing and efficient communication was a series problem. Utilization of 1.44 MB floppy diskettes was considered the efficient means of transferring files or documents among professionals. In addition, there was no any centralized management of the system which was hindering the data security and management system. Little attention was given for meta data documentation There was no integration between Micro data and meta data Users dissatisfaction was prevalent

FUTURE PLAN
16
-Improve the Dissemination System through Dynamic Web -Recovering old data available on old tapes and archiving in the central data bank using the IHSN toolkit - Harmonizing the data through proper standardization -Establishment of the Question bank -Finding an appropriate tool for annonimization -Implementing the NSDS Future Plan
