5 The King and Queen Christian Pageant was established in 2009,by mothers and daughters who have been in the pageant industry for years. This Christian based system is aimed at encouraging and supporting the growing young ladies and young men by offering a supportive network of believers, rewarding model behavior, and giving the opportunity to represent their communities, schools, churches, families and mostly themselves with power, and dignity.

6 Our goal is to help cultivate the spiritual goodness as they become and maintain the qualities that will make them exceptional role models and leaders in the community. We strive to offer a forum of training, expression, and appreciation for the natural, god given beauty and intellect of a young kings and queens. And to ultimately build supportive connections with other community organizations and families. OUR MISSION

10 A quick routine to start the show. No dance experience necessary. NEEDED a blue and white outfit, any combination. Blue Jeans and white top. Will also be doing introductions at this time, (not judged) CASUAL WEAR EVENING GOWN ON –STAGE QUESTION Opening Presentation

11 INTERVIEW Preferably a two- piece solid color skirt suit, pants are accepted. Accepted alternates are a vest and pants/skirt, or business casual outfit. Sweaters are permitted. No DENIM: small dime sized jewelry: little to no make-up Panel Style: 3-5 judges will ask you questions based on info provided in the FACT SHEET

12 Outfit of Choice Looking for a FUN, hip, age appropriate style of dress. Denim, leggings, hats, scarves, and props are encouraged! Seeking originality. You can wear a sport outfit, bring a ball, book, or wear a dance costume:

13 Stage Presentation Questions will be drawn randomly by contestant and repeated by MC Looking for articulation, charm, and quick audience connection skills. Be honest with the answer This can sway the judging in your FAVOR!

14 Evening Wear Contestants choose a full length evening gown of their choice, both appropriate and contemporary. Age appropriate gown, no mid-drifts or plunging necklines. No gloves, shawls, or accessories. Scoring Judges look for overall first impression, sense of confidence and stage presence, grace, style and personality 25% of your Score Represent this category

15 Talent Optional Competition Contestants will perform a 90 second memorized talent selection of their choice. (all are encouraged to try) Judges look for true talent and entertainment abilities, interpretive ability, technical skill level, stage presence and on-stage personality

16 Costume/Theme Pageant Rules 1. Ages : 0-23, 2-4, 5-7, 8-11, 12-14, 15-18... ***If an age has MORE THAN 10 Contestants, that age division will be divided. Example... in the 0-23 months.. There are 13.. 0-12 months, they will be pulled according to their birthday. 2. No scarey mask, please. 3. Make up can be added with theme outfit, but we are still looking for all natural in these pageants. 4. Photogenic Photos can be any size. Color or Black and White. NO GLITZ photos in natural ONLY. Mark photos on back with name and age prior to registration. 5. Portfolio pictures must be in a binder. At least 4 or more photos must be in binder. Mark photos on back with name and age prior to registration.

17 Natural Rules 1.We are a Natural Pageant. No Glitz Dresses. NO BLing BLing. Looking for the "All- American" girl and boys outfits. Look in your closet for outfits. FIRST 2. Makeup is NOT allowed on ages Zero to 5. Ages 6-11 little lip gloss. 12 and up must look natural and age appropriate. 3. Points are not counted off for braces, eye glasses or facial imperfections. 4. Contestants will compete as of age on day of pageant. No fallbacks allowed. 5. We required good sportsmanship of all contestants, family and friends. Those not displaying good sportsmanship will be disqualified and no score will be given. They will be asked to leave to pageant area. 6. There are no refunds of any pageant fees paid. No exceptions. 7. We are looking for all natural kids with confidence, poise and personality. 8. Scores will be tabulated by our auditor. Scores will be handed out, with comment sheets. Judges decisions are final. In the event of a tie for the title, Judges will decide the winner.
