7. Get Carded! Timeline Get Carded @ Eastdale Goal: Eastdale students will get a Oshawa Public Library card and an introduction to OPL services and programs! Jan. 4, 2010: On or before this date OPL will supply application forms to ECVI outlining OPL card requirements and instructions for an OPL card. Jan. 4, - Jan. 8, 2010: ECVI students will get the application form in their English class, fill out and return the application. Applications must include a parental signature and proof of Oshawa residency. Jan. 11 - Jan. 14 or 15 or 18, 2010: OPL will process applications and produce OPL cards.

8. Get Carded! Timeline Jan. 14 or 15 or 18, 2010: OPL staff ( Tiffany & Co. ) will visit Eastdale on one of the proposed dates, distribute cards to legit applicants and present a one hour presentation on OPL services and programs. Presentation in the ECVI Library, will occur in each of the day's scheduled 4 periods. English classes will come to the ECVI Library with their English Teacher in their scheduled class period. ( 3 or 4 classes = 75 - 90 students per period. ) Notes OPL staff will determine the day of presentation. ( Jan. 14 or 15 or 18, 2010 ) OPL staff can accommodate some late applications on the day of presentation. If necessary, the rest of the cards will be made up after January 14th and then delivered to the school for distribution. Process will be repeated in early February, 2010 for second semester English classes.
