A Winning Philosophy (continues) Commitment: Youth are drawn to sport by the competition, the striving to win and the recognition of excellence achieved Intense commitment and total effort in achieving success is of utmost importance Participation in sport keeps the youth from trouble and helps them to be focused on the more important issues in life 8
