The Big Picture The simulation is a case study that comes to life. Working in teams to take on the role of a mid- level leader in a fictitious produce company. Practice new skills in business acumen, team leadership, and individual leadership. The simulation is an abstraction of reality – use it as a laboratory for learning!

Your Company Medium-sized produce company located in California, selling produce to customers across the United States. Family-owned business founded in the 1930s by Simon Gordon. The CEO today is Simon Gordon III, the third generation of Gordon family leadership.

Workshop 1 Assignment In workshop 1, you will hear about the strategic objectives of your company, and your boss will give you a set of business development objectives. Assignment: Choose 3 or 4 of the objectives your boss has given you and create SMART goals for executing them. Be sure to link each goal to one of the higher-level strategic objectives of the company.
