2 Objectives  Participants will understand the importance of taking data prior to toilet teaching  Participants will understand the difference between toilet trained and toilet conditioned  Participants will identify the steps to toilet teaching success  Participants will be aware of common toileting teaching challenges

5 What to do…before teaching  May have readiness skills…but maybe not!  Signs of readiness: communication, being uncomfortable, wetting on regular schedule, responding to rewards
