Regarding Advising and Planning IDAHO STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION ADVANCED OPPORTUNITIES FOR IDAHO STUDENTS Fast Forward The key to maximizing advanced opportunities involves intentional planning and a commitment to doing one’s best work. Clarity on an intended undergraduate program of study should inform dual credit / college-credit bearing exam activity. Dual credits that don’t apply to program completion may result in wasted time, effort and money (general university requirements are a good place to start). Grades earned through dual credit are reflected on secondary, and postsecondary transcripts, failing or dropping courses will impact both.
