7 Recycling Industry Demand: PAPER 2800 tons per day of paper is consumed between 4 paper mills in SC. Of the 2800 tons consumed by SC paper mills, 90% is generated in NC and SC. 10 years ago these mills were pulling material in from NYC and Miami, FL. ANNUAL DEMAND: 952,000 tons Paper Mills

9 Recycling Industry Demand: STEEL 16,000 tons per day of steel is consumed between 4 SC steel mills. Nucor (2) – Darlington and Berkeley Counties CMC – Lexington County ArcelorMittal – Georgetown County ANNUAL DEMAND: 5,440,000 tons Steel Mills
