When a line crosses over itself, or with other lines, a shape is made. Shapes are always 2-D. TEXTURE Texture is the surface quality of an object. Texture is the surface quality of an object. There are two types of texture: Actual Texture is how an object truly feels (rough, smooth, bumpy, furry) Visual Texture is when an artwork is made to appear to have texture.

COLORCOLOR Hue is the name of the color. Purple is a hue. Value is how light or dark a color is. (Red vs. Pink) Intensity is the brightness or saturation of a color.
