3 Zero Tolerance Policy Get the message out to the parents before the season No one, except the players, can speak to the referee before or after the game about the call of the game No yelling, criticism, harassment, sarcasm, intimidation or feedback Violators can be ejected from the field Coaches and teams are subject to disciplinary action by the BAYS Sportsmanship Review Committee

4 Spring 2014 Season Schedule ULittles - U6-U8 – Season starts – April 5 th and 6 th – No games first weekend of April school vacation – No games Memorial Day weekend – Season ends – June 14 th and 15 th U9-U14 – Practices and Group Nights start – March 31 st – First games April 5 th – No games scheduled for Memorial Day weekend – Season ends – June 14 th U16 and U18 – Season starts – April 27 th – Season ends – June 15 th

5 Field Information All grass fields open on March 31 st – Snow Kidding Turf field restrictions – ONLY players, coaches & referees on the field – NO spectators allowed on the field – ONLY WATER is allowed, no juice, Gatorade or food – No tents, canopies, or umbrellas that penetrate the turf Goals – DO NOT MOVE GOALS at Haskell under any circumstances – DO NOT let players hang on the crossbars – Goals must be sandbagged on the turf fields – Check the nets & report when they need to be replaced

7 Coach Requirements - CORI Forms State required CORI checks for all adults: Everyone - Board members, coordinators, coaches, assistant coaches, runners & managers Complete the online form here: https://idevforms.americaneagle.com/youthsoccer/fo rm657510374/secure_index.html https://idevforms.americaneagle.com/youthsoccer/fo rm657510374/secure_index.html Must complete a CORI check specifically for SYSA CORI checks are good for three years Must meet with Sandy Moore and provide a copy of a government issued ID that will be kept on record

10 BAYS Travel Team Rosters Official roster delivered via email Sign and fill in jersey numbers Bring TWO copies to each game Official copy sent to BAYS director by SYSA Coaches can not make changes to the official roster Contact Sandy if you need any special rosters for tournaments or other non-BAYS games

14 BAYS Coach Pass Cards Required for all BAYS coaches & assistants Must have a green 2013-14 sticker Need pass card? – Send a passport size color, head and shoulder shot to sandy@sudburysoccer.org or leave the picture in the box at 90 Winsor Road – Include your name, address, phone, email address, & DOB – Sandy will email you when ready for pick-up

15 Medical Releases & Player Summary Always have medical releases for ALL players at ALL times – Put copies in gear bag – Forms delivered via email

31 F Course information COURSE CONTENT Focus on many characteristics of the U10 and U12 player. Technically and tactically activities for U10 and U12 players Information on how to design and implement an effective training session More thorough demonstration of basic technique in dribbling, passing, receiving, tackling, heading and shooting Elementary goalkeeping techniques Basic tactical ideas in reference to the principles of play Discussions on the differences in coaching each gender, motivation and team building, injury prevention and management and ethics.

32 NSCAA Goal Keeper Course Goalkeeping Level 1 Diploma – Explore some of the myths and mystiques – Six-hour course is directed to the team coach – Includes lecture (theory) and field (practical) – Empower the coach with info &practice methods – Enable evaluation a goalkeeper in game situations – Design an appropriate practice program April 13 th 12 pm – 6 pm at Fairbanks & Haskell Field – Register on SYSA website
