2.  Electromagnetic Waves- waves created by vibrating electric charges, can travel through a vacuum or matter.  have a wide variety of frequencies and wavelengths.  All matter contains charged particles that are always in motion, so ALL objects emit electromagnetic waves.

3.  Radiant Energy- Energy carried by an electromagnetic wave.  Makes you able to see and feel warmth. Wave Speed- 300,000km/s “speed of light” Travel slowest in solids, fastest in gases.  Photon- particle that explains how electromagnetic waves energy depends on frequency of the waves.
