RFID and RFID tags. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is an automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data using devices known as RFID tags.
2
RFID tags RFID tags use RFID to store and remotely access data. RFID tags can enable the user of the RFID tags such as a corporation like Wal-Mart to track their products. An RFID tag would be attached to the product and identified and tracked through the use of radio waves.
3
RFID tags continued RFID tags have gained popularity due to the complex changes in our world. Additionally, RFID tags have been viewed as a replacement for barcodes. RFID tags are also potentially being considered by hospitals in the use of identifying patients.
4
Groups that are promoting RFID tags AIM global, also known as the Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility, is committed to the intelligent adoption of RFID technology. The website for AIM global is http://www.aimglobal.org/. The National Retail Federation is the world’s largest retail trade association that represents all major areas of retail.
