Expert Contact I contacted Rumpke Trash Services. I asked, 1) Is the company making an effort to decrease on pollution, if so how? 2) How does Rumpke get rid of waste? 3) Over the past five years has waste increased, decreased, or stayed the same? 4) Is Rumpke trying to make the systems more environmentally friendly, if so how? Answers: 1) Yes, We keep the trash contained in one area so it does not pollute other areas. 2) Mainly the landfill 3) Stayed the same. 4) We encourage recycling so something's can be reused.

Landfills Rome could use landfills to store trash instead of the streets Landfills would be a good idea because they you could keep the trash all in one area, and bacteria from the trash wouldn’t be everywhere. The People taking the trash to the landfills would create jobs, to help the economy.

Recycling Water and Waste Instead of dumping waste into the Tiber River, you could filter the waste water and reuse it. First you would have to strain the water to get any larger objects out of the water Then boil the water to kill the bacteria By doing this it would create jobs for the Roman people

Fixing the Aqueducts You should make the waste water, sewage, and urban runoff aqueduct three different aqueducts for sanitary purposes. Not make the inside of the aqueduct led because the led can kill you because it will get into your bones and decay them, then you will die. You should make all waste aqueducts lead to a cleaning system to reuse the water.

Conclusion I believe that we can help Rome fix their problems, because the U.S. has had very similar problems to Rome But I do not believe that we can completely fix them because the U.S. has not fixed them yet today.
