7 Typography: Tips In the context of a paragraph, RARELY USE ALL CAPS for emphasis. It’s better to use italics or bold. Underlining is also going away. Don’t double-space between a period and the next sentence. It leaves big gaps. Like this. Rarely use more than three fonts in a given design.
