EC should support morally the ISO CDB as much as possible
DIN (as main actor), Paradine (as software provider), (as one of the users) and ISO (as manager) should do their best to accelerate the project and open it widely to the worldwide community

For dictionaries, a standard exists:
ISO 13584; only a few dictionaries follow this standard;
Many don’t: ISO 15926(!), Gellish, eOTD, GDD/GS1, RosettaNet…
CEN Focus Group (funded by EC): FG/CDC to improve the situation
- Awareness campaign
- Web services
- Pressure on non-standardized dictionaries to follow ISO 13584

The standard is settled: ISO 13584
ISO should publish a sub-version of the standard for “Business” use!
The FG/CDC should open discussions with ISO 15926(already on the way), Gellish, eOTD, GDD, RosettaNet… to have them aligned on 13584
FG/CDC to act about:
- An awareness campaign
- Web services
- Participation in European activities (e.g. eBSN, Interoperability for a, SMEs…)
Rediscussion of objectives of FG/CDC?
Problems in linking together FG/CDC, ePPS and eTourism

A study is necessary (funded by EC  CEN Workshop) to compare the possibilities of catalogue exchange with BMECat and with the new OntoML/29002 standards so that only one catalogue standard evolve.
In FR, pressure should be put on Ministry of Industry by EC to support Catalogue Platform, open to all
