WHY DOES IT SEEM LIKE EVERYBODY IS TAKING CIVICS THIS YEAR? Because of new regulations involving DCAS and Delaware End of Course Exams, Laurel High School is presently re-sequencing the required courses in Social Studies. Because of this drastic change in what class students take in which grade levels, ALL 9-11 th grade students are taking Civics or US Government and History. The 2012-2013 school year, the courses will be offered, and students scheduled, in the correct sequence.
