Matter and the Periodic Table
Learning Target Success Criteria I recognize that all substances are made up of one or more elements organized into groups with similar properties on the Periodic Table. I am successful when I can describe two reasons why the Periodic Table looks the way that it does.

Chemical Reactions Learning Target Success Criteria
I understand that a chemical equation shows a reaction where pure substances change to produce new substances with new properties. I am successful when I can identify the reactants and the products as well as tell what is happening in a chemical equation.
