Cosmic Viewpoint verses Divine Viewpoint
4
Verse six is broken down into four statements:
5
1) Establishing the authority of the leadership Pastor teaching Bible Doctrine (orthodox),
6
1) Establishing the authority of the leadership Pastor teaching Bible Doctrine (orthodox), “We are and keep on being from God”.
7
2) Establishing the positive believer who desires to learn the Word of God from the orthodox leadership Pastor,
8
2) Establishing the positive believer who desires to learn the Word of God from the orthodox leadership Pastor, “he who has and continues to know God, keeps listening to us”.
9
3) Establishing the cosmic person (believer or unbeliever) who rejects Bible Doctrine,
10
3) Establishing the cosmic person (believer or unbeliever) who rejects Bible Doctrine, “he who is not from God continues to not listen to us”.
11
4) Establishing the principle of discernment between true orthodox leadership Pastors and eloquent false teachers, by the type of audience they attract.
12
“Because of this we have come to know and can presently discern between.” Rom 1:27; 2 Peter 2:18-19; Jude 11
13
Eph 4:14-15, “As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming. But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ.”
14
2 Peter 3:17-18, “You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
15
Principles: 1. Where the believer resides determines his attitude toward Bible doctrine, positive or negative.
16
2. Where the believer resides determines his capacity for love, personal and impersonal.
17
3. Everyone is influenced by some power, God's or Satan's. Which one influences you is determined by which one you spend your time in.
18
4. Whatever system you choose the power of, excludes the influence of the other.
19
5. Self-motivation to continue momentum in the Plan of God and to glorify Christ only exists inside GPS.
20
6. Therefore residence in the Cosmic System destroys motivation to learn Bible doctrine.
21
7. This leads to the problem where all believers living in the Cosmic System cannot be distinguished from their unbelieving counterparts.
22
8. Believers who live inside GPS are positive toward Bible doctrine and believers living in the Cosmic System are generally negative toward doctrine.
23
9. Involvement in the Cosmic System means negative volition toward Bible doctrine and failure to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in time.
