13. Wind Erosion
Moving air can pick up and move sediment like water, but only extreme winds (hurricane or tornado) can transport large particles.

Suspension- small particles stay airborne for long distances.
Saltation- bouncing transport along the ground.

Most areas that experience wind transport receive little rain and have little vegetation (ex. desert)

Deflation- Lowering of the land surface due to the loss of surface particles
