Crop & Food Research is an independent, government-owned company provides research, technology and services to the arable, vegetable, ornamental, seafood, animal feed, plant products and forestry sectors employs 370 staff, including a few engineers, based at 8 locations in NZ and 2 in Australia focuses on providing effective solutions for clients 42% of income is from privately-funded clients, the balance being Crown-funded
