Hints and Tips: Procurement Procurement Route? – DH are dead set against Competitive Dialogue and recommend Open or RestrictedCompetitive Dialogue and recommend Open or Restricted – Also use Frameworks where possible but watch out for: Contract lengths Possibility of extensions Other suppliers not on the framework or on it through a partner Challenges are more common nowadays Evaluation criteria? – Watch out for the cost % if you don’t want cost to be the overriding factor – Having a scoring mechanism which can reward for exceeding the requirement – otherwise can be very little difference
