Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory  New Maintenance Form  This form will not be a detail form  This form will be found on the Menu  This form will be able to searched in the quick search  This form will display the work file information

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory  New Export Process  This process will create the flat file  This process will not be an ELF specification  This process will default to the user’s Private Hold  This process will have the ability to have the option to view the work file information in an excel file

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory  New Export Process

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory – Data Derivation  SS01 – Student Educational Goal  This element describes the student's educational goal while enrolled in the reporting college and should be updated each term if the student notes a change during their academic career. This information is in addition to SB14 and is collected after that element has been recorded. The distinction between the elements is an important one: where SB14 records the initial goal of the student upon application, this element documents and confirms their current goal each term.

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory – Data Derivation  SS01 – Student Educational Goal  The old CAMA process used the information in the STUDENT.MATRIC File  We will now be using the information found in the PST.EDUC.GOALS  The date information found here will be used to determine what is the Education Goal in a specific reporting term

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory – Data Derivation  SS02 – Student Course of Study  This element identifies the student's primary major or program area of emphasis.  This will use the information found in the Student Academic Program  We will need to determine how we want to determine the Active Program in instances a student has two active programs  Do we want to add a flag that would be specific for SS reporting

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory – Data Derivation  SS03 – Student Initial Orientation Service  This element indicates whether the student was directed to, or exempted from, initial orientation services as part of the student success process at the college.  This can be derived off of the contact types

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory – Data Derivation  SS04 – Student Assessment Exempt Status  This element indicates whether the student was directed to, or exempted from, initial assessment services as part of the student success process at the college.  We will need to determine where to add a flag to determine whether or the student is exempt

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory – Data Derivation  SS05 – Student Education Plan Exempt Status  This element indicates whether the student was exempted from completing a student education plan or from counseling/advisement other educational services as part of the student success process at the college.  We will need to determine how to flag a student if they are exempt

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory – Data Derivation  SS06 – Student Initial Orientation Services  This element indicates whether the student received initial orientation services as a part of the student success process at the college.  This can be derived off of contact types

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory – Data Derivation  SS07 – Student Initial Assessment Services Placement  This element indicates whether the student received assessment services for initial course placement as a part of the student success process of the college.  This can be derived off of Contact types

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory – Data Derivation  SS08 – Student Counseling Advisement Services  This element indicates whether the student received counseling/advisement services, other than the development of a Student Education Plan, during the reporting term.  This can be derived off of Contact Types

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory – Data Derivation  SS09 – Student Education Plan  This element indicates whether the student developed an education plan at the college in the term reported.  Student Self Service Information  We will need to determine what determines a change in the education plan  WebAdvisor

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory – Data Derivation  SS10 – Student Academic Progress Probation Service  This element indicates whether a student on academic progress, probation, or facing dismissal received support services during the reporting term.  We can use Contact Type to determine whether a student has had Progress Probation Service

Software Release for Student Success (SS) Regulatory – Data Derivation  SS11 – Student Success Other Services  This element indicates whether the student received other types of student success support services during the reporting term, including: career interest assessment and exploration, other orientations beyond the initial orientation, other education planning services.  Student Contact Types can determine whether or not a student has received other services
