The total number of ports used depends on the different types of interface cards that are fitted into the matrix  Fail-safe redundancy achieved by two processor cards and two power supplies with failure alarm indication  Full compatibility with V panels and I-stations  Full audio bandwidth: 30 Hz to 22 kHz  Programmed and controlled by the Eclipse EHX Configuration Software. 4  Eight general purpose inputs and eight relays, located directly on the matrix.  MVX card with 16 ports for panel, audio and/or interface connection.  The E-MADI64 is a MADI (Multichannel Audio Digital Interface) card,providing up to 64 duplex channels of AES3 digital audio over a coaxial cable or fiber pair between compatible devices.  Fibre card with dual redundant transceivers for networking matrices over Fibre optics  E-Que – FreeSpeak Integra card for connection to antennas and FreeSpeak digital wireless Beltpacks  E-Que – E1/T1 card with dual for connection to telecom leased lines. Each E1 controller provides 30 digital audio lines  IVC-32 card supports 32 IP connections over LAN to V panels-IP or Concert PC clients  LMC-64 card support audio metering of any input / output in a local or remote matrix Individual level control and Programmable VOX  Intelligent linking of up to 64 matrices  DTMF inward access (incoming DDI support)  Four separate configurations can be stored on-board, accessible from front button controls  Remote access by Internet/Ethernet or RS232  Dual LAN connectors for redundancy OMEGA MATRIX

11 Eclipse HX MATRIX INTERFACES – GENERAL FEATURES MVX-16 ►16 port matrix card with 16x RJ45 connectors for connection to Panels, 4wire and External interfaces. ► Each MVX port uses a 8 pin RJ45 connector that contains bidirectional RS422 data and Analogue 4wire audio ► Status LEDs showing port status and audio presence status E-FIB – Fibre networking card ► Dual redundant optical transceivers for networking matrices together to form a fibre optic ring. The fibre ring provides 1024 audio channels shared across all linked matrices (15 matrices in total) in the ring. ► The Fibre ring carries audio only. Matrix to Matrix data is carried separately using a LAN ► Automatic switchover from ring A to ring B. Auto loopback in case of any breaks in the ring ► Two cards can be placed in a matrix to provide card redundancy as well ring redundancy MATRIX INTERFACE

12 Eclipse HX MATRIX INTERFACES – GENERAL FEATURES E-QUE – FreeSpeak Integra ►The FreeSpeak Integra card provides integrated control of FreeSpeak Beltpacks. ►The FreeSpeak beltpacks are registered to the matrix using HX and can then be programmed like panels to access any local or remote port on the system. ► Up to 4 cards can be fitted in a matrix giving access to 40 antennas in one matrix that can be spread across the building allowing the beltpacks to roam from one area to another without losing connection ► The card can be set into 2 modes. ► Mode 1 antenna mode - 8x RJ45 connectors for directly connected antennas ► Mode 2 splitter mode - Using RJ45 #1 and RJ45#5 provides connection to 10 antennas via splitter units. E-QUE- E1/T1 line card ►Dual E1/T1 line card for connection to telecom 2MB (E1) / 1.5MB (T1) lease lines. ► When set for E1 mode provides 30 digital audio channels using 1x CAT5 cable. The card can be set up for trunklines or tie-lines (60 lines in total on one card) ► When set for T1 mode provides 24 digital audio channels using 1x CAT5 cable. The card can be set up for trunklines only (48 lines in total on one card) MATRIX INTERFACE

13 Eclipse HX MATRIX INTERFACES – GENERAL FEATURES IVC-32 IP card ► Provides 32 channels of IP connection to IP enabled V panels or Concert PC clients or Trunklines ► Each channel supports low latency G722 (7Khz audio) ► Allows direct connection of V panel-IP over LAN or internet ►IVC-32 card supports functions as a hot redundant backup for one or more IVC-32-HX cards in the same frame ►IVC-32 cards supports directs and trunks over IP network infrastructure LMC-64 Metering card ►Used in conjunction with the Production Maestro HX plug-in ► Provides up to 64 real time metering meters for input / outputs. To check the levels entering and leaving the matrix ► Can also monitor the overall audio level of a conference. ► Provides both Nordic 9 and VU scales ► A single card can monitor levels across a network of matrices Note: Maximum of 4x E-Que / IVC-32 / LMC-64 cards in any combination can be fitted into a single matrix MATRIX INTERFACE

14 Eclipse HX MATRIX INTERFACES – GENERAL FEATURES E-MADI64 Card  The E-MADI64 is a MADI (Multichannel Audio Digital Interface) card,providing up to 64 duplex channels of AES3 digital audio over a coaxial cable or fiber pair between compatible devices  E-MADI64 Card Properties permits sample rate selection when synching to video signals. The E-MADI64 card must be configured before it can be used when not using the Word Clock Source Sync.  E-MADI64 Card Properties always defaults to the E-MADI64 standard for the number of channels. MATRIX INTERFACE

15 Eclipse HX MATRIX EXTERNAL INTERFACES – GENERAL FEATURES IMF-3 Frame ► Can house up to 11 Interface Modules in 3U. ► PSU LED indicators on front panel. ► Requires power from a PSU-101 module IMF-102 Frame ► Can house up to 2 Interface Modules in 1U. ► Integral PSU module EXTERNAL MATRIX INTERFACES

16 FOR-22 DUAL FOUR WIRE INTERFACE ► Provides two independent 4-wire/radio interfaces with transformer isolation. ► Each channel has separate 1x relay output, 1x opto isolated input ► Separate send and receive level controls on front panel ► Connects to a matrix (MVX) port using CAT5 cable ► Applications include: camera intercomms, two way radios, satellite links, IFBs and program audio. EXTERNAL MATRIX INTERFACES

17 CCI-22 DUAL PARTY LINE INTERFACE ► Provides connection to two independent 2-wire party-line systems ► Supports Clear-Com and many other party-line formats. ► Audio signals are transformer balanced, Control signals are opto isolated. ► Signal level and auto-“null” controls are on the front panel. ► Connects to a matrix (MVX) port using CAT5 cable TEL-14 ► Provides two independent auto-nulling Telephone Interface lines. ► Supports manual and speed dialling telephone access ► DTMF inward access for Self-service dial-in or Party-line dial-in (DDI access) ► Connects to a matrix (MVX) port using CAT5 cable EXTERNAL MATRIX INTERFACES

18 AES-6-CX INTERFACE ► Provides connection to six independent Intercom panels via Coax ► Connects to a matrix (MVX) port using CAT5 cable ► Provides 6 mono or 3 stereo panel feeds ► Support Vpanels and 4000 panels fitted with coax daughter cards AES-6-RJ INTERFACE ► Provides connection to six independent AES-3 streams. ► Connects to a matrix (MVX) port using CAT5 cable ► Provides 6 mono or 3 stereo audio feeds ► Connects to external AES-3 external devices (96/48K) ► 24Bit audio + 8bit user control data ► Vpanels can also be connected by RJ45-digital CAT5 EXTERNAL MATRIX INTERFACES

19 RLY-6 RELAY INTERFACE ► Provides connection to six independent single pole, double throw (SPDT) relay outputs. ► Test pushbutton on front panel and LED indication for each set of relay contacts. GPI-6 GENERAL PURPOSE INTERFACE ► Provides connection to six general purpose logic inputs. ► Logic inputs can activate functions (audio routes, signalisation) within the Matrix frame defined by HX ► Opto Isolated inputs. LED indicator for each GPI activation. ► Test pushbutton on front panel to provide local activation of the logic input as defined by HX GPI/RLY cards connect to the CPU card directly using a CAT5 cable the to GPI/RLY DATA connector on the CPU rear card on the Matrix. They can be daisy chained to other RLY-6/ GPI-6 cards using CAT5 cable with the first in the chain connecting to the CPU REAR card EXTERNAL MATRIX INTERFACES
