3 What was ancient Greece like? Classes –If a father is a citizen, his son is also a citizen –Free non citizens & serfs –Bottom there are slaves Women’s rights –Can’t be citizens, own property, vote, or attend assembly –Motherhood = good; work = bad

9 The temple of Delphi Oracle The Delphic Oracle is a priestess called Pythia Seek advice When you ask a question she will go into a trance to speak Apollo’s answer. Then a priest will interpret the answer.
