2014 MATE ROV COMPETITION Mission Scenario Location: Northwestern Lake Huron, Thunder Bay. More than 50 shipwrecks within the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary (TBNMS). Mission Tasks Explore, document, and identify an unknown shipwreck. Collect microbial samples and measure conductivity of the groundwater emerging from a sinkhole.
