Unerstanding Quality See Q-Placement Handbook 3.3 According to ISO 9000 definition, quality is the degree to which a set of characteristics meet all requirements. So quality is a relative concept. Quality is always relative to a set of requirements that are specified in advance, which are needs or expectations to be met.

Placement completion certificate Q-Placement Handbook p.66 The company issues a placement completion certificate which certifies that the trainee has successfully completed his/her placement in the company according to the previous established work plan

Trainee’s report Q-Placement Handbook p.67 Should contain: Student’s details. Company’s details. Duration of the placement. Description of the tasks undertaken. Some photographs. Competences acquired through the placement. What worked well? What went wrong? General conclusions of the placement.

After arrival feedback meeting Q-Placement Handbook p.69 After the arrival of the student, the school tutor will meet him/her in order to obtain additional information and general feedback on the placement

Capitalization of the experience Q-Placement Handbook p.70 The school tutor will encourage the student to update the competences acquired during the placement in the Europass C.V., European language passport, etc. This will enhance the attractiveness of the student profile in the labour market.

Final evaluation Q-Placement Handbook p.71 One of the main objectives of this final evaluation is to ensure that the work plan has been followed, the student has performed his/her duties and that practical knowledge has been achieved as planned.

Host company’s quality certificate Q-Placement Handbook p.72 It is recommended to send to the host company a quality label and/or certificate to give public visibility to the company
