2. Poland has got sixteen voivodships (regions). We live in Lublin region which is in the south-east of the country. Lubin is the biggest city in Lublin region and this is the city where we live.

3. Poland joined the European Union in May, 2004. Since then a lot of things have changed in our country.

4. Lublin is a beautiful, modern European city with a long and rich history. It was first mentioned in chronicles in 1197.

5. Here you can see the emblem of our city – the ram and the vine. There are many legends about Lublin and its symbols.

6. We go to the best primary school in our city – Boleslaw Chrobry Primary School. It’s a part of the educational complex EDUCO which also includes a kindergarten, a middle and a high school.

7. Our school is attended by more than 300 students. We represent classes 5a and 5b. This is the photo of us and our classmates…

8. Reading is a very popular activity in our school. We often visit the library and do a lot of interesting projects connected with reading. In the picture you can see „The Reading Night in Chrobry”

He is 16 years old. He isn’t in this photo beacause he doesn’t like be ing in photo s. My mother’s name is Olga. She is a house keeper. She is the best mum in the world, I love her very much. My father’s name is Jacek. He is a bridge player. He is a triple world champion in bridge and I also love him very much.

11. This is my family. My name is Alex and I am eleven years old.I have got a brother, Jacob. He’s five years old. My mum’s name is Kasia, she’s forty-one years old. My Dad’s name is Darek, he’s also forty-one. I love my family.

12. Recently we have conducted a questionnaire in our school. As you can see our schoolmates are real bookworms!

13. Our students prefer to read teen literature, adventure and fantasy books as well as detective stories.

14. The books which are most popular in our school are as follows: „Harry Potter”,
