2. Our Team Tell us about your team: Our team, The Sabers, is from Clarence Middle School, and is in the 5-8 division. Our team consist of 2 6 th grade boys from Clarence Middle School. To start off, our blades, we each had to come up with and draw 10 blade designs that we thought would work best. After that we picked our favorite one and we made it and tested it and see who’s one was the best.

3. Design Brief Problem Statement (What is the problem that your teacher has given you to solve?): The problem that the teacher has gave us is that should are community have a wind turbine. We have to build one because our community is running out of electricity, there is not enough. So that we can have more electricity. Design Statement (How are you going to solve this problem? Include the process you are going to take to solve the given problem) : We are going to solve it by building one in our classroom, and make electricity.

Design Brief Constraints (What you can and cannot do/use.): can’t use medal we can use cardboard nothing can be longer than 10 in. we can use balsa wood. we are only going use 3 blades. we are going to go with 3in wide going smaller at the top. Deliverables (What materials and items you need to solve this problem) we are using cardboard roles cutting slim to the top. we are designing 1 set of blades. were testing them to see how fast they go.
