1. Adolf Eugen Fick

2. Invention Fick invented the contact lens. Born : September 3 rd 1829. Died :August 21 st 1901. The contact lens had been around for close to one hundred years or more but his was the first to stop nearsightness and farsightedness.

3. Degrees 1851 doctorate In 1847 he began the study of mathematics and physics. Later he switched to medicine.
