The Day On March the 19°, the day of Saint Joseph feast, all pupils prepared a spread table and brought to school dishes of our tradition.

Saint Joseph Soup Saint Joseph soup is a dish handed down from the rural celebrations for the spring equinox. The ancient time good housewife got rid of the remnants of dried legumes because there was the new season and the new collected.

Savory dishes Some traditional sicilian savory dishes: Pizza, Arancini, Panelle, Olives seasoned with hot peppers, jelly with pork, hot pepper and lemon.

Sweet food Some traditional sicilian sweet food: Cassata siciliana cake, Bianco Mangiare with almonds, Cannoli with ricotta cheese, Bignè di San Giuseppe and Sfinci with rise.

The Cannoli is one of the most famous sicilian dessert in the world. It is made with a crispy waffle filled with a ricotta cheese cream and sometimes chocolate drops and candied fruit.
