If consultant how do you select? - sole source single firm - direct RFP - expression of interest - public RFP Don’t forget about NWPTA (New West Partnership Trade Agreement) - $75k for goods and services Plan / Design the Project

Growth Strategies New West Partnership Trade Agreement – Agreement between SK, AB, BC that creates Canada’s largest, barrier-free, interprovincial market. Requires government entities to post tender notices Goods and Services over $75k Construction over $200k “dispute resolution procedure” between the parties with a maximum monetary award up to but not to exceed $5 million. NWPTA

Securing a contractor: - Sole Source ($200k for construction - NWPTA) - RFQ (Request for Quote and Request for Qualifications) - RFP - Tender (Usually need some design/spec/tender docs. Executing the Project
